The Egyptian American Film and Arts Festival (EAFF) has established the EAFF Association for Cinema, Creativity, and Artistic Experiences. This association aims to:
1. Facilitate communication and collaboration among filmmakers and professionals in the artistic field in general, including directors, actors, producers, cinematographers, set designers, and all branches of cinema.
2. Engage in discussions about ideas and obstacles faced by filmmakers, seeking practical and realistic solutions and exploring ways to overcome challenges, ensuring that creative works come to light.
3. Provide both direct and indirect support to new cinematic experiences, encouraging creativity and nurturing talent by creating multiple channels for visibility and skill development, whether through collaboration with official or private entities.
4. Discuss all issues related to reality and cinema through regular and structured meetings, producing specific recommendations that are easily implementable.
5. Extend opportunities to association members through festivals or academies that provide training, qualification, or production possibilities.
6. Organize workshops in various artistic fields to enhance qualification, training, and practical experience, facilitated by specialists in each field.
7. Offer association members opportunities to participate in the fields of directing, acting, cinematography, editing, set design, music, singing, screenplay writing, poetic lyrics, and criticism.
8. Prioritize the association’s participation in the Egyptian American Film and Arts Festival and other affiliated festivals, promoting active involvement and attendance.
9. Publish all news and events related to association members and their artistic projects through the association’s electronic newspaper.
